Our mission is to facilitate, recognize, and promote undergraduate research at Queens College. Undergraduate research is defined as any scholarly activity that makes a substantial and original intellectual contribution to a field or discipline.

Undergraduate research support comes in several forms. The Office of Undergraduate Research:

• Provides an information clearinghouse for students and faculty to help them participate in undergraduate research experiences.
• Offers financial support, on a competitive basis, to students and faculty engaged in undergraduate research.
• Offers training and financial support for faculty wishing to incorporate undergraduate research in to their classes.
• Promotes the activities of our student-scholars and faculty mentors in order to recognize them for the great work that they do.
• Tracks the outcomes for undergraduate researchers in their careers at Queens College and beyond.
